I was on the 'meh' fence with Traversee but I really love Skin on Skin. I have a teeny meagre bit left of my sample that is in the 'sniff from the vial' stage rather than use it up on my skin. Not sure I'm up for paying £115 for it though.Sarah Waitehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02225799091497587153noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3328195413175627899.post-378398896594349602014-10-13T08:51:45.877-07:002014-10-13T08:51:45.877-07:00I have just replenished my stock of Aldi gin. I wholeheartedly agree with it's greatness, in fact I think you can see my adoration in the facial expression!

Sarah Waitehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02225799091497587153noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3328195413175627899.post-9723233698462799542014-10-12T15:04:55.926-07:002014-10-12T15:04:55.926-07:00That's a lovely picture of you with Aldi's...That's a lovely picture of you with Aldi's finest gin, btw! ;)Vanessahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11847145282522572183noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3328195413175627899.post-90987987941475593602014-10-12T15:04:06.372-07:002014-10-12T15:04:06.372-07:00Undina, that time is nigh...;)
Sarah, loved your ...Undina, that time is nigh...;)

Sarah, loved your take on Tralala, and I must say right off the bat that I have that very same Aldi gin - my brother got me onto it and he is fussy too, so I knew it would be pukka.

Re the perfume itself, I do see where you are coming from with the whisky fudge thing - fizzy whisky fudge maybe? And the scent does escape all conventional categories as you say, so you just have to wear it for its own sake in the end, rather than a recognised 'occasion'.Vanessahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11847145282522572183noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3328195413175627899.post-66102243722188090742014-10-05T23:29:59.109-07:002014-10-05T23:29:59.109-07:00I haven't tried this one yet but I will when I...I haven't tried this one yet but I will when I get a chance: I don't mind boozy perfumes and I like this bottle.

Speaking about Skin on Skin, for my nose it smells a lot like BD's earlier creation for the same brand - Traversee du Bosphore, now discontinued, for what I'm mad at L'Artisan because I suspect they did it to repackage it with a slight change into the new, more expensive line under the new name.Undinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05292100499371921334noreply@blogger.com
